My sweet friend Duke passed away last night. He was almost sixteen. He was a beautiful, easy going, carefree little guy. He was happiest when he was snuggling with me or his dad, Gig. He filled every day with joy. It’s been a year and a week since his dad died. Rest now little one. Your papa will be with you.

NASA is pretty amazing and I appreciate all the things that came out of the space program, but wouldn’t it be great if we cared enough about one another to put that much effort into solving problems here on earth?
18 years with this sweet, shy, loving little guy. We were/are together in time. We made some great memories together. I’ll miss you Giggity.
