question for anyone on Medicare. My spouse will be enrolling next year.

Her b'day is in August - which I'm wondering if that means she gets hit with double deductibles, one for the current insurance from Jan - July and then another for Medicare from August - December.

Was that your experience? Seems a obviously unfair 'feature' for b'days in the middle of the year and just wondering what or if they've done to address it.

The fun unusual twist is she's already on Medicare Advantage due to disability for her current insurance.
