Happy Fourth of July.

I kept wanting July 4th to be a quiet night. I'm no fan of my neighbors setting off colorful explosives in the air. This year, I got my wish. I've never heard a less enthusiastic celebration than this year.

I suspect things will be different when the long-awaited obituary is printed.
