The mood change when Matt Booty walks in was so foreboding...

The audacity of the new piece of shit in charge.
"I want XBOX to be one of the few companies that entertains more than a billion people each day and gives everyone the opportunity to create and connect. I know we can achieve this goal. XBOX has many of the most beloved franchises in entertainment history, talented studios around the world, and we will return to growth in 2027."
By laying off thousand of people yet again and getting rid of a bunch of studios as well as shrinking other studios down in the same swoop.
Brilliant plan!
No flaws detected, go right ahead! 🤡
Thank God Double Fine goes independent.
Nonetheless, fuck Microsoft, always.
Oh, just heard back from the person and he’s willing to do free shipping. 😊
Sent a message to a seller about a handful of Saturn FAN magazines.
Shipping added up to more than €100,
So if I'm able to get that down to like €30, I'll be happy and bite. 😊
Listening to the Shiro guys talk about the Sakura Taisen limited edition which came with a clock, had me go looking for my Sakura Taisen 3 with the photo stand that has a little music box built in.
There’s another version with an actual music box and I could have sworn I had the nice big red box with all 4 games, but I can’t find a trace of it.
Might have sold it back to the shop along with Segagaga and Tryrush Deppy that I got peanuts for, and he turned around and put it back up for like 4-5 times what he gave me. 😭
I wonder why I started looking for other means to buy import games…
Planning on getting all my Japanese Saturn and Dreamcast games out of storage next week, when my 3 week summer vacation starts.
Been a while since I played my Dreamcast, so it’ll be a blast.
For now, I’m going through my PAL games and thinking back to all the weird and wonderful fighting games we got on the system.
One example of this is Tech Romancer.
had to post this amazing live version

As I'm working on the one Dreamcast FAN issue I have right now, I'm more and more in a Dreamcast mood.
So I decided as I edit the pages, I wanted to listen to a new podcast about the system.
While I don't want to name and shame, the episode was an hour long and the first 20 minutes was just talk about Tomb Raider, Pokémon and random PSone games...
As well as one of the hosts not even knowing which Virtua Fighter game released on the system or if it actually got one.
At which point I though "well, we're off to a great start here..."
They finally seem to be getting to the point of wanting to start talking about the actual Dreamcast and the one guy goes "before the DC, there was the Saturn, but the less said about that, the better."
At this point I just noped out and went "Yeah, we are not doing this BS today!" 😂
Back to the old trusted pods.
