This whole #PlayStation debacle has really got me thinking about digital ownership rights re: games (we have none) and how much I just can't stand feeling like a sucker. As long as physical discs were an option I was okay, but now...When I feel like I'm being taken advantage of I don't just wait around for more. So, I bit the bullet and am getting a gaming #PC (to run #Linux ofc). It's the one platform where I can actually own my games - #GOG

I've always greatly prefered the ease of consoles

For over 20 years, I had a 144p video named Disrobics.avi with someone singing "colony colony colony". No idea beyond that. Last month I finally confessed my secret videos to my now-wife. She instantly said "Call On Me, 2004" then angrily "THIS is what you called me for?"

I now have #PC version installers for most of my #PS4 and #PS5 game library. That, uh, wasn't difficult, and I'm happy to buy future games on #GOG. Also shows just how little is #PlayStation exclusive. #Sony thinks they have me locked in already.

Not only did I have to be out in this today, I had to finish moving my grandma's stuff from her old apartment to my apartment/her care home. I feel so sick now and my head is pounding. I almost passed tf out several times. If I don't feel better within the next few hours I'm going to the hospital. Proably hasn't helped that I'm on blood thinners.

Trimmed down my #retrogaming library today. I'm a player, not a collector, so there's no purpose in having lots of ROMs that I don't really care about; it's just distracting more than anything. I also cleaned up a lot of my #RetroArch settings and configs.
