Huh, NetBSD provides *two* WINE packages via pkgin: 5.0, and 9.0.

I'm on my 22+ year old laptop (2004). I tried using 9, but it gave an error about ntdll.so. But 5, holy shit, I can run XP-era software now.

It's huge because there weren't many available programs my PC could comfortably run without compiling from source, using QEMU or a Linux emulator, or dual-booting Slackware 13.37 (from 2011). Now I can run Windows builds of Anki 2.0.52, Zim 0.60, Blender 2.x, etc.

NetBSD 11.0 RC5 is out with (you guessed it) security updates for third-party components, including: unbound, openssl, expat.

* olimex a64 (aarch64) - it finds out when the arm drivers get too piney.

The last two weeks of changes have brought us many new sensor drivers for the Sun Ultra 45, and a new audio driver for the SGI Iris Indigo.

Also, initial support for the PowerPC 440 core and 460EX SoC, used on ACube Systems embedded hardware.

In less retro news, a ~1% performance for some ARM platforms. The -11 release is pending on security issues in OpenSSL, expat, and unbound, since our day keeps getting ruined.

The latest version of the SPDX specification removes references to SPDX-License-Identifier tags in source code. We're unsure if this is intentional.
