Of course, the problem with this is always how many of these men are in a position of power and that makes it hard to resist, even for the other men in the room. But resist we must, including as a man whenever you think, "Did he really just say that to her?" Even when that man is your boss.

And just in case I need to explain this to anyone, wearing a hijab is a choice that grown women make to live modestly, and is not mandatory in Islam. Wearing hijab is one of the most straightforward ways that women can show obedience to God, much like Christians who feel obligated to pray over every meal.

No, babies do not wear hijabs. This is a PHOTOSHOOT, and as a professional photographer I can tell you that people from EVERY background dress their babies up in clothing related to the parents' culture, and I have not yet heard anybody complain that little Billy is forced to don western wear and a cowboy hat that doesn't even fit him for a photoshoot, because it's forcing him into life on the ranch and branding innocent cows for slaughter, and a baby can't choose such a life for themselves.

Just so you understand how this hypocrisy happens, "Back the Blue" is an authortarian movement and authoritarians are cultists. They aren't led by principle, but by blind leadership. I see this as wrong no matter who it's done to, or who does it, because I follow principled concepts of human rights.

"Back the Blue" just means that you justify and dismiss brutal violence against anybody you consider an "enemy". So there's no real hypocrisy here, just the usual level of disgusting behaviour.
