According to Gaza's Government Media Office, more than 21,500 children, including 1,022 infants, have been killed since the war began on 7 October 2023, as the genocide reached its 1,000th day.
The office said the total Palestinian death toll has risen to 73,066, with 173,514 people injured and around 9,500 still missing under the rubble.
It also reported that over 90% of Gaza's buildings have been damaged or destroyed and that about 80% of the territory is under Israeli occupation.
Separately, UNICEF said more than 11,000 children have sustained life-changing injuries, including up to 4,000 amputations, many performed under extremely challenging medical conditions.
