A new version of the Rust GDAL crate is now out, with pre-built bindings for GDAL 3.10, index-based field access and support for Z/M values.

You can now build and link a minimal GDAL from source. These are limited in features and not very well documented, so you'll want to check the `gdal-src` manifest for details.
