Da ist gerade eine ePetition gestartet worden mit dem Ziel bei Gefährdung im Straßenverkehr das öffentliche Interesse zu bejahen.

Bitte zeichnet mit, damit das Quorum auch erreicht wird!

Mit der Petition wird gefordert, das Strafgesetzbuch und die Richtlinien für das Strafverfahren und das Bußgeldverfahren (RiStBV) bei Straftaten von Autofahrenden gegen Radfahrende und zu Fuß Gehende so zu ändern, dass Autogewalt regelmäßig verfolgt wird, indem die Staatsanwaltschaften das "öffentliche Interesse" an der Strafverfolgung bejahen, anstatt wie bisher auf den Privatklageweg zu verweisen.

This is big but complicated and confusing. Here's my take:

US tech companies that want to sign up #EU users must promise (through a formal process administered by the US Commerce Dept) to comply with #GDPR #privacy protections, and submit to the oversight of an "independent" US agency -- until now the #FTC -- with the power to enforce those promises.

With no independent FTC, and no alternative independent agency standing by, US companies may have to stop accepting personal info from EU citizens.
