Just to clarify if anyone doesn't grasp it, this was with regards to the recent information about the social media ban for under 16s in the UK. Keir Starmer announced plans for Spring 2027 on 15th June 2026.

Now would be a great time for Signal to add silly filters and whatnot for all under 16s in the UK to swap to it instead of Snapchat.

All of this nonsense about getting kids off social media is really just a cover for not legislating the social media companies to make the spaces safe for everyone.

They of course, don't want that as it would affect profits.

Explain again how profits are more important to a society than safe spaces?

99% of the harm inflicted on children as a result of social media comes from their parents[' generation] using it, not children using it.
