Let's pretend I am REALLY GOOD at adverticing my comic book so I could sell some of these books and do even better job for Volume 2 next time (next year?).

The VOL 2 webcomic is going to have its 74th episode this week, and the series will be ongoing as long as I can continue doing it. (^_^)

Sidenote: If your project previously used Generative AI for your art but have now come to your senses and want to now leave that behind - I won't judge you.

You just need to from that point on be Anti-AI in everything possible and not use Generative AI in your project, and agree to sign a contract that states you wont misuse my art (this includes using it to promote a Gen AI project).

I ran out of time today, so I will do my best to edit the Fairytale tomorrow and send the first 5 chapters to my editor. (^_^)*

I have far too many balls in the air at once, and really wish I was one of those disabled ADHD people who have a whole team behind them.

I spent half of today's work day trying to get my medications through digital clinic, failed at that, and now will need to go to a doctor next week to say the same things I said today...

So, comic sketch is up, many emails sent, one contract written, and I worked on a premade update for a client.

That...is enough for today.

I got my doctor times mixed and forgot to reserve one followup time out of I don't even know how many...and now getting my ADHD medication is a whole ass dance.

Plus we can't afford us both going to doctors during summer since we don't get medications or doctor bills paid up by social support - all thanks to tax returns.

Man does it suck to be disabled and poor...

Another morning, and another kick ass story idea that just popped into my head about a trans guy who finds himself from a world where music is everything, and after decades of not ever participating in it realizes that it really resonates within him...in fact, the world feels like home.

And he wonders...could his country-singing, binge-drinking, bigot of an absent father be from there, exiled for his crimes?

A story of strenght, belonging, home, and learning music...only in my head. (^_^)*

The Moroccan geographer Mohamed Berriane just told me an amazing story:

About ten years ago, in Corsica, he talked to some Corsicans who had been hiking in the mountains in Morocco. On a high mountain slope, they encountered some bad weather and got lost. So they did what Corsicans do in that situation: they sang a specific song, which is known in Corsica as a call for help. And right away, some local Amazighs heard them and came to help them, because the Amazighs have the same song, which they use in the same way.

Mohamed thought this was fascinating and should be studied, but hasn't found anyone who's interested.

Älkää ihmetelkö, jos nettisivuni toimivat hitaasti tai tökkivät. Nettisivuni ei tällä hetkellä kestä tätä yli kymmenen tuhannen ihmisen liikennettä, joka sinne on yhtäkkiä tullut parissa päivässä. Tämä on varsin odottamaton joskin toki myös positiivinen ongelma jollaista ei ole kyllä koskaan ennen tullut vastaan pienkustantajakirjailijalle. :D

Pystyn aika rajallisesti seuraamaan keskustelua aiheesta, mutta ainakin muutaman pointin voin lisätä aiempaan:

1) Minulla, Tarulla tai Nysalor-kustannuksella ei ole mitään yhteyksiä Finn Follow Oy:n tai Aitodeco Oy:n yrittäjään.

2) Jos tietäisin jotain varmaa yrittäjän motiiveista, olisin kyllä kertonut niistä blogikirjoituksessani. Mutta en tiedä sen enempää kuin kukaan muukaan. Minulla on tietyt epäilykseni, mutta koska en halua levittää misinformaatiota, en sano asiasta julkisesti mitään.

3) Minä olen tässä kyseisessä kirjassa kuvittaja. Taru Kumara-Moisio on kirjailija. Olen kyllä myös kirjailija, mutta en tässä kirjassa.

4) Kerron julkisesti lisää, kun jotain kerrottavaa on.

Jakakaa mielellään kirjoitusta vaihteeksi myös Tarun nettisivuilta, se on sielläkin nähtävillä siltä varalta, että oma sivustoni kaatuu.
