I think I’m even more anti establishment than Nigel Farage but when I go to my bank statements I still don’t seem to have £5million payment from the anti establishment establishment and no emails from BBC’s Question Time to be the most established anti establishment guest either
someone asked me why AI pilots fail in production and i said 'because most of these projects didn't need AI'
'building a tech project to use AI, instead of to solve a problem, is just like building a project 'to use postgres instead of mysql'
i wonder if i'll still be invited next year
I thought about it, and here are some serious reasons why #CarolVorderman should hold back in the first #ClactonOnSea by-election and let @CountBinface have the first go.
Yes: 1st by-election. Per ¶40 of the Protocol approved by the House of Commons, #NigelFarage winning the 1st by-election allows the standards commissioner's investigation to be un-suspended, and could result in a *second* by-election should the Committee on Standards then so decide.

I respectfully disagree. MPs have resigned to immediately contest their own seats in a subsequent by-election for a few different reasons, some as a matter of honour and principle:
Defecting to a New Party
Douglas Carswell & Mark Reckless (2014): Both defected from the Conservatives to UKIP and resigned to seek a fresh mandate from their constituents. Both won their respective by-elections.
Bruce Douglas-Mann (1982): Resigned after defecting from Labour to the SDP. He lost the by-election to a Conservative candidate.
Dick Taverne (1973): Resigned from the Labour Party after a dispute with his local branch over his pro-European views. He stood as "Democratic Labour" and won.
In Protest of Policy
David Davis (2008): Resigned his seat as a Conservative MP to contest it as a 42-day campaign against the Labour government’s proposed 42-day pre-charge detention laws. He comfortably won re-election.
15 Ulster Unionist MPs (1985/1986): Resigned en masse to trigger simultaneous by-elections in protest of the Anglo-Irish Agreement. Fourteen of them won their seats back.
Here are two 'extreme' examples
The Duchess of Atholl (1938): Resigned as a Conservative MP in protest of Neville Chamberlain’s policy of appeasement toward Nazi Germany. She stood as an independent and lost!
George Lansbury (1912): Resigned his Labour seat to fight a by-election as an independent in support of women's suffrage. He lost!
@RabBrucesSpider1 @JeniParsons they have an astounding ability to make bad news out of anything. Either that or they simply don’t report it. On the news that Robroyston was to get 2000 more houses which by anybody’s standards should be regarded as good news their take was that it was terrible. There was no shops and schools (yet)
If they can’t get a negative slant on the news, they will just not report it
I don't have any faith whatsoever in the people of #Clacton having either the common sense; the moral integrity; the media literacy; the self-awareness; the capacity for learning; or the political insight necessary to unseat #Farage. Especially in a functionally unopposed #ByElection
And that is emblematic of why I don't think the country deserves the redemption that would be #CountBinface trouncing him in what would then become the most hilarious self-own in parliamentary history.
Giving a research ship a silly name, part of the national character.
Keeping thoroughly corrupt neo-nazis out of Westminster? That would obstruct the serious business of the Daily Mail editorial board getting their way on every disastrous policy they can whip their readership into a froth over.
Oh if they want to see money laundering, they might want to take a peek at his visits to Montenegro

BREAKING
The £5m gift to Nigel Farage by a cryptocurrency billionaire has just been reported to the National Crime Agency by bankers who were concerned it may have been laundered money.
Farage was given a deadline of 1pm on Tuesday to respond to the Guardian Newspaper. Instead, chose to do a video address at 2pm announcing he would force a byelection in his seat of Clacton-on-Sea.
He is in serious trouble.
Thanks to @BenCotterill for the article xxx
"A recent report by the London assembly found the rapid expansion of datacentres, which require huge amounts of energy, was delaying urgently needed housing in the capital as there is not enough capacity on the electricity grid for both."

RT: @campbellclaret Farage is, always has been and always will be the establishment. Like his hero Trump his skill is being able to persuade people he is one of them when in truth he is of money, for money and obsessed with having it. As for being subject to over zealous media I can think of few other senior politicians who have had such an easy ride from our press over the years. Questions unanswered. Scandals ignored. Treated as a jovial commentator. Today was a long desperate whinge by a man being found out and needing to shift the narrative. Classic Trump distraction strategy. Still at least a by election means the people of Clacton might get to see him for once. Will be discussing on @RestIsPolitics with @mehdirhasan out later today
@PeterMLittle @missingbrighton @JeniParsons
If you watched BBC Scotland you’d be gobsmacked at the anti independence slant.
Neutral my bahooky! 🤬
Belgium wins the ball kicky thing. Trump says he wants Greenland and can pull his troops out of Europe. So not bitter then.
If you are a member of Codeberg e.V. please take the time to participate in the poll that was just sent out about banning vibe-coded projects on Codeberg.
