I think it would be fairly easy to do. Just decide if it should be it's own button, a popover, or something else. And make an icon if the design needs one.
Today is Juneteenth! A day we remember that it took 2.5 years after the emancipation proclamation for Union soldiers to free enslaved black folks in Texas. There’s a lesson for non-black folks here that the work is not done and we must forcefully seek out and create equity and justice for all.
It’s a good time to reflect on the subtle ways white supremacy is upheld in our institutions and how we can work every day to decenter white experiences in the things we build ❤️💛💚

I have seen this phrase, or variations of it, many, many times today. And while accessibility is seemingly at a very low point in people's awareness right now, I'd like to do my part in educating and raising awareness, something I try to embody when doing streams on my game streams, tech streams, and Youtube videos.
In 3.5 hours, at 7 PM CEST, 6pm UK, 1PM EST, I will go live on #twitch and #youtube to have a look at some of the efforts and initiatives that are happening today, but from the viewpoint (heh) of an actually #disabled (fully #blind) user.

Someone asked me for a refund over this post, so I’d like to make something clear: our community consists of trans and gay and disabled people and people of color and people whose first language is not English and a whole host of other kinds of marginalization and I have no plans to ever stop celebrating that. If that’s a problem for you, I am extremely happy to give you your money back.
