@mkennedy the latest #Python Bytes episode where you guys go over your productivity and/or infrastructure software was not just a great introduction to the new host, but introduced me to some new programs. I think it would be neat if you guys did some updates semiannually or annually. Maybe something like "last time we were using zsh, now we're using ..." Yesterday Gemini helped me figure out an NFS share issue not by giving me the right answer, but by giving me an answer that reminded me of forgetting that I could use to fix it. My heart goes out to those who are losing their jobs. On plus side, existence of union seems to be allowing the members to have some agency in who is removed. Also,recall rights seems to me to be a upside if things improve for Paizo & they can be rehired. Totally understand their need to cut back on Foundry support for society play. My main #TTRPG is #TalesOfTheValiant &
#koboldpress has been very transparent on how expensive TTRPG conversions are. If not getting the $, then #paizo needs to cut.

I remember when I heard about the Diamond bankruptcy and how it was screwing with #Paizo 's release of Starfinder 2e. @pluralistic I have often found that it's very important in the topic of #AI for folks to hear from technologists, especially the way you've written Reverse centaur where you are not simply speaking in terms of doom and end of the world but are explaining the ways in which AI can work for good and for bad. Especially when it comes to the topic of the data centers which they cover quite a bit on breaking points. I think they would be interested in hearing from you

@pluralistic I just finished reverse centaur and as I was listening to your acknowledgment section and you talked about your publicist, I thought to try and recommend to you to see if you could get on the YouTube news program breaking points. They tend to ask very intelligent questions and represent people from both sides of the political spectrum. And I think would help get the book's topics in front of people who aren't normally looking to tech sources. (1/2)
