Since I'm #newToFedi and #mastodon, there are things that irritate me rn. In a few days or weeks, I'll get used to most of them, just like most people reading this.

I consider tooting about those things, so they don't get lost. Someone more invested than me might pick them up, and maybe even fix them.

Is there sth like a proper hashtag for things like this? Filing a bug report is probably too high of a hurdle for me atm.

Is there an optimal amount of #fediverse #instances? When deciding if I want to set up and maintain a dedicated instance for myself, or my community, or my area, what are some questions I should consider? Does the number of instances affect the barrier of entry for possible fedi newcomers?

Have these questions been explored systematically? Do you know of someone you'd consider an expert for these?

Mein Highlight: @bjoernsta hat in seinem Impulsvortrag die üblichen Nirwana-Fehlschlüsse überzeugend wegdiskutiert, also grundsätzlich legitime Anforderungen, die uns tatsächlich aber nur ausbremsen. Wir können nicht in Schockstarre verharren, bis eine ideale Alternative in Sicht ist, sondern müssen anfangen.
