Ken Paxton cast a ballot in the May 26 runoff from an address he doesn't live at. A new investigation found it's one of at least 6 elections in the past 2 years he's voted from a home he moved out of—a second-degree felony under TX law.

Meanwhile, his office prosecuted Crystal Mason, a Black woman, for a provisional ballot never counted. She spent six years fighting the case before it was overturned.

Went to an appointment today that was actually scheduled for this date in 2027, because MyChart pretended there were no other appointments. Luckily i realized it and went anyway, and told a human i needed help making one for this year. Now have to go back next week, but at least it’s soon.

One of the biggest questions I get at Drop-In Time at the library (besides "what is taking up all my cloud storage??) is how to disable or avoid intrusive AI that shows up where people don't want it. I'm going to make a handout that explains how to do some of the basic AI-removal or AI-avoidance things.

Would appreciate links which give simple steps to do this for the most-used (Siri, Alexa, Gemini, Copilot, Firefox's AI nonsense &c.) so I can collate and synthesize. Thanks!
