Welp. Though it's just another hot n sweaty sticky day in the 90s with the dew point still well in the muggy 70s, making feeling more like 101deg out there, the weather gods did get caught slacking on the humidity letting it start slipping into the mid-60s for a bit #today.😲

But never fear. They saw their mistake overlooking it and have started the rain to bring it back up to the sweaty wet levels again. 💪

TGIS! ( Thank Goodness it's #SofaSunday) and I'm not required to do anything all day today but sit n sip in the AC. 👍😜

#today ended up with me deciding I needed to have some of that wonderful elixir. its easier to just head downtown and spend the $0.75 for draft beers and enjoy some conversation. Then Bill showed up and we talked the talk.

Then, I just sat and watched the things turn to other things in #cambodia. The day turned to evening and the tuktuk waited. Took me home and life turned some other corner. But the beer was cold and life was full. And we talked. Only every so often and then we find things about some life to trot out. Life then. Life now.

It's still a very humid and muggy-sticky day expected today and high in the 90s as the past few days. So, go figure. 😲
I guess it's the high chance of high winds n heavy storms developing today, expecting them to keep heat at bay. Otherwise, it's looking like the typical terribly humid n hot day ahead for me. 🥵
Ah, well. I guess we will just have to sit n sip n wait n see. ☕️😏

It's destined to a short day of sitting n sipping for me today. I've got my cardio scoping visit early tomorrow morning. They wamt me there by 6AM, which means up n leaving by 5, and thus, rising to shine n shave by 4AM. THAT'S gonna be tough on this old geezer, for sure. 🥴

So, it's a short sofa surfing day for me, and I guess I best get started at it then. 💪

Not that I missed anything. It's still cloudy, muggy, and humid. We are still stuck under our high heat advisory again today, too.🥵
Though they are saying there should be more clouds than sunshine heating up things, and they are throwing in good chances of more thunderstorms developing throughout #myday #today. 🥴

Being #Slackerday, there's not on my schedule today. Mostly finding ambition n courage to face the outside to clean up the damaged branches that the winds ripped from our tree n see what else got blown away in the winds.😏

The Hoilday got started here early last evening with folks braving the wet between down pours to actually step out n set off fireworks. Kinda makes me wonder if they saved some for tonight or if we will enjoy a peaceful n quiet one.🤔

Fortunately, the glass top looks intact. So, hopefully, no harm, no foul, or something like that. 💪

A nice big mint chocolate chip filled waffle cone hit the right spot, nicely. Belly is very happy. 💪

The thundering from the growing storm is growling ever closer.⛈️
I'm not happy about the rain. But the dropping temperatures and wind blowing, sorta makes up for the wet muggy mess it will leave behind, I guess. 🤔

At least the drying garden is getting a good watering out there now that the clouds have burst. Hopefully, soon enough and more than enough to make em survive the awful heat. 🥵🤞

Kitchen clutter cleared, dishes almost all washed, and the all important coffee pot is fixed for morning. 💪

Yup. I'm not sure of my counting, but I'm figuring it's day three of out 7 to 10 days here in high heat n super muggy-sticky, heat advisory weather, and another long hot day sitting n sipping inside in the AC all day again #today. 💪

Yup, we are still under a high heat advisory with the temperature rising quickly with the sun towards a terribly hot n miserably muggy 95deg day again today.🥵

I guess the silver lining side is the lack of thunderstorms developing and adding to the wet n sweaty. 🤗
That and the pleasant presence of coffee to sip while sitting in the AC again all day. 👌😜

So much for my plans for doins here. Just lots of sitting n watching the weather from my window seat, sucking on something refreshing, and being glad for air conditioning. 👍😁
