Been exploring games I played as a child. FF Crystal Chronicles was chaos as a kid due to the unhinged online multiplayer. It's a clunky hack and slash adventure. Playing it now feels..... Youthful. I'd still play it with my child.

Ninja gaiden on the DS was creative, novel, and a fantastic way for a kid with poor fine motor skills to DESTROY their DS touch screen.
Would not give my kid this game unless I wanted to replace the console.
I'm having a great time replaying as a adult though. The touch screen combos kind of blend together tho. Not as good as the button combos of a traditional Ninja Gaiden game.

I LOVED Starfy as a kid. It's a shame none of the other Japanese titles for this character never made it to English publication.
It was a very cute and age appropriate story with simple platforming mechanics.
Entirely too simple for me to play now, definitely for kids.
I'd get this game and the Japanese titles for my kid.

Questo inverno, insieme al mio amico Jacopo (che sa disegnare), ho lavorato a un giochino per fare pubblicità alla lotta no TAV a Vicenza. Angry Tass è un clone di Angry Birds nel quale i proiettili piantano alberi che, crescendo, distruggono i cantieri boschivori della grande opera. Questo video mostra come si è evoluto dai primissimi passi (sempre interessante da vedere come crescono i progetti). Ho giocato a "Look outside" e non posso fare altro che rosicare al pensiero che un gioco nato come progetto di una jam, da un singolo dev, sia cosi profondo e ben fatto mentre io, una volta entrato in casa, fatico a stare sveglio.

Sto lavorando a un giochino (Godot 4) che implementa un comunissimo gioco di carte che dalle mie parti è chiamato "merda". (il titolo del videogioco è Scythe -> Shite -> Shit -> ...) Non sapendo veramente disegnare MA sapendo ritagliare foto su Krita e poi applicare filtri threshold, questo giro la grafica è tutta costruita a partire da foto di cose trovate in casa e pezzi di gente amica. L'effetto inquietante (ispirato e.g. a Inscryption) mi pare stia riuscendo!
