I tried watching True Lies for the first time in forever (I think I watched some of it once since I saw it in the theater in 1994) I remembered the infantilization of Jamie Lee Curtis while still having her dance in her underwear.
But holy hell I couldn't make it through 20 minutes. The misogyny starts at the beginning and continues through every single scene.
