I would much rather ask this question to fediverse's intelligence:

I am trying to insulate from solar rays and survive.
Can you give me an estimate of how much better at reflecting solar heat a reflector mesh sheet rated at 99% would be compared to my blinds which are white plastic with albedo 0.7 when covered in dust? (hard to clean the outside).

I'm asking because AC is not an option for my budget and everyone recommended thermal insulation from the outside, so I was thinking of big sheets.

I caught myself writing that I am not signing MTG cards by mail anymore because I am "afraid" of harassment.

Theoden's scene where he receives healing by Gandalf to remove Saruman's corruption is in the movie using Christian healing tropes. Where miracles are given out by the white robed priest.

TIL Your wifi router can sometimes randomly decide to change local ipv4 address after a reboot, so the port exposure rules need to be changed if self hosting (ie, to open port 22 for SSH).

I feel so stupid.

The attack surface on my servers is not the hackers or open ports, no, the threat model is me feeling frustrated to the point of smashing my own equipment with a hammer.

So much talk about how people using commercial services instead of self-hosted FOSS solutions are "lazy", but you can come debug our yunohost server if you want to truly lose yourself to the cause, my brother.

At the end of the day users will be left alone to deal with a server with they can't afford to take the time to understand. Is that empowerment?
