me: I cut through the plaster joins, pried out every nail with a small chisel (there was about 25) and it came off in one piece.

he also looked at my repair (a pop rivet I put in the hole) and said "awesome"

plumber is here to fix the hole in the pipe I drilled yesterday afternoon. In fairness to me he took one look at the inner workings of the wall where I drilled the hole (after I removed the plaster) and said "fucking hell, I would have drilled there too"

I don't care if he's just being nice.
