maybe that is enough computer for the next ten years or so

duckduckfedi, does anyone have a working setup with fprintd authentication for doas? I have the following:

/lib64/security/pam_fprintd.so is a file that exists

fprintd seems to be working fine, I can enroll and verify fingers. when I exec doas, it prompts for a password and does not do anything with the fingerprint. I tried strace --follow-forks --decode-fds=all doas echo 2>&1 | grep fprint. this command exits with one, so it is never even trying to read from the fprintd file. it does read a pam.so file however.

anyone know what's going on?
