Not a usual sighting. Only time I have ever seen Vultures on the ground not near food. They came and had a Beach Party! On the sandbanks of the Crocodile River.

It was dry and not much cover, the little Bushbuck had to rely on total stillness.. That round rock? Elephant dung, no rock.

I see Greenpeace advocating Wind and Solar power as GREEN ENERGY. Rubbish. The batteries "ingredients" come from Strip Mining, here in Africa. Up North by little kids. Here they tried in St Francis to open a mine. My aunt was nervous. If the permission was granted, I was going to blow the ONLY road bridge that gives access to the are. Farms. The have both fertilizer and diesel.. ja.😆 #nature #socialmedia #greenpeace

A lot of Buffallo! Came down to the Crocodile River to drink. Some action filled days as the unusual Lion Pride, led by Half-Tail a female tried to hunt these big cows. It did not go well. Will post the pics and videos as we go along. The stories about the lion and whatnot will be on my blog posts. I hope you enjoy the show. I did!

Baboons. These are safe... for now, as they are in the Kruger. BUT. Let them "raid" a Big Five place or two in the Park and along it's borders? They will either get shot or put in a caged area. Why have we got Big Five , Five Star places IN the Park anyway????

Creosote treated wood, this fungi? is one of the things that can grow on it.

Just before it rains the these ants build a wall around their holes. Usually when they do this it will rain. The higher the walls, the more rain you can expect!

Them Bones. Marloth/Kruger.
In Marloth only big predictor in Marloth all the time is the Leopard. Most carcasses I have found remain intact and just rot. Nothing here is eating them. Shows a huge problem with this Reserve's ecosystem....
