Sunday night gig to celebrate the changing of the clocks. #DinOfCelestialBirds but seen from side-on and playing at ground level. No idea why the venue chose to arrange its space this way but makes for a very intimate musical experience.
A first night out in #Stockport, drawn by the promise of an evening of drum & bass and electronics at #Bruk. It's going very well but I'm having to avoid the #Jaipur at £5 a pint for the sake of tomorrow.
Fasaig Village earlier this morning. The Munro 'Liathach' behind.
It got a little rowdy but I was safely on the fringes. Bloody awesome gig!
Hooray! The traditional civilised #ASIWYFA pit has formed. 😁
As the melodic noise of #Caspian fades to quiet, I'm rather excited for And So I Watch You From Afar up next. Even managed to get a #ThisAndThat rice and three in beforehand. Living the #Manchester dream!

First #lebkuchen of the year (thanks Aldi). Not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
A new Beat Network #map helps people reach more than 50 grassroots #music #venues across Greater Manchester by bus and tram.
Created by the Greater Manchester Music Commission, Music Venue Trust and Transport for Greater #Manchester, it highlights transport links to venues including Band on the Wall, YES, Gullivers and Night and Day.
The initiative aims to make gigs more accessible and affordable while supporting artists, businesses and the night-time economy.
Greater Manchester has 52 venues in the Music Venue Alliance, a national network supporting independent music spaces and emerging talent. Grassroots venues contribute more than £500 million annually to the #UK #economy.
The map follows the launch of five night bus routes linking Oldham, Stockport, Tameside, Salford and Trafford with Manchester city centre. Night buses now run across Greater Manchester every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with single fares costing £2.

I read some post about how Mastodon consists primarily of German-speaking creatures talking in English. I'm gonna do a poll, need to test that. Boosts highy appreciated!

Dieses charmante Stück Straßenkunst habe ich letztes Jahr in Hamburg entdeckt.
#Laibach in Manchester. Never come across them before but the tickets were dirt cheap (courtesy of #ShowFilmFirst). Every track is differently weird. Definitely an entertaining way to spend Wednesday evening.
We have reached the stage where Fight The Power by #PublicEnemy has become background noise to a Sunday morning Tesco shop. I wonder if the playlist compilers ever listened to the lyrics.
After a week with a head cold, my sense of taste has returned sufficiently to make going for a pint worthwhile (Time Bandit pale ale from #BrightsideBrewing in Radcliffe, since you ask). Not sure I've had such a full-on cold since before Covid - I can't say I've missed them.
