Pride comes before a fall. I was smugly looking over at PHP saying, well I use Golang, how about that... And then I thought, a vulnerability is a vulnerability. They can be found anywhere. Naturally I'm fully patched up with all my production services running the latest version of Go, right? Right? And unlike PHP, I have to actually recompile every service with that latest version of Go. So I did an audit. I'm not going to reveal what the audit showed 😳 but let's just say I've been doing a lot of patching this evening...
