Ey, I'm on dn42! dn42.zlatko.dev.

I mean, I can't do anything there except curl or links shit from CLI, but if we geeked about this crap only when we had actual purpose, the internet wouldn't be half the place it is today.

This is how you build a bridge in Valheim.

Someone just shut down their #mastodon server (well, they made the announcement), and I was thinking if it would bbe a good idea to plan your phase-out ahead of time.

Example: I've said to myself, "I'll self-host my single-user #gotosocial and if I ever can't deal with it, nobbody would care."

But maybe I should have planned ahead. "If I ever stop posting for 2 months, I'll shut it down."

For single-user instances it's not a bibg deal, but for some people it might make senser if ou know this information in advance.

Just a random rambling thought though, nothing relevant, carry on.

fucking beautiful, and I didn't think I'll ready anything funny on yahoo of all places today:

The great thing about single-user gotosocial instance instead of being hosted by mastodon.whatever is that when your server cert gets messed up for 2 weeks and you're outa country or something and can't fix it, it's not a big deal and nobody cares.

At least I assume none of you missed me :)

Anyway fixed now, let's see if i can also upgrade some stuff, not just fix broken crap.
