No, New York Times. It is not Zelenskyi's "defiant decision to continue attacking Russian refineries" but putin's utter indifference and continued terror campaign against the Ukrainian civilians which underscore trump's inability to end this war.

I would.

They know this is beyond the pale otherwise they'd be bragging about it on Twitter and Fox & Friends.

Czech PM Andrej Babiš says Trump has “let us down” by doing business with Putin while Russia’s war against Ukraine continues. “We all want peace,” Babiš said, stressing that peace does not mean accepting Russian ideas. He argued that Europe has been left out of the process and said it now needs to act: “Trump, by doing business with Putin, has actually let us down. So we have to do something.” #Ukraine

🇩🇰🇺🇦 Denmark’s PM Frederiksen:

If Russia wanted peace, they could simply stop. They are the ones attacking.

Ukraine is running out of money. In fact, that has already happened. They cannot buy what they need. They cannot produce what they need.

The administration says papers created in the White House belong to Donald Trump, not to the American people. The case could ultimately end up at the conservative-leaning Supreme Court. #news #NPR https://www.npr.org/2026/10/16/nx-s1-5996836/trump-who-owns-presidential-records-act-appeals-court

Just saw a video of a woman in Simi Valley, California, threatening to call ICE on someone. In a ramen restaurant.

They want our food but they don’t want us.

A curious invention.

The Gov UK website asked me for feedback on my enquiry

To the people who care that what's her face didn't pass the bar and lied on her resume: where have you been for the last decade? Don't you know that's not how anything works now?

I think this whole discourse is stupid. No qualifications could make me approve of the mouthpiece for this administration. Plus, now that DEI is dead and hoods-off racism is running amok and meritocracy is legal again (oof), the most important thing is that she is the best person they could find to do the job. She can't read. She can't think. She is the very best they can do.

Who said "never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake?" Napoleon? Just let her flail like an inflatable tube person at a car dealership.

Good grief this is depressing:

TL:DW - Social media advertisers are paying people to make pro-Nazi videos because these drive engagement from their target audience of rich white people. (This obviously isn't the only reason bigotry is online, but this advertising money is pouring lots more fuel on the fire.)

GenAI is then making this a million times worse, as it's so cheap and easy to swamp platforms with propaganda.

Perhaps engagement-based monetisation/advertising needs to be banned? It is literally paying people to promote the most evil horrific things possible.
