How to build a police state
To understand where Trump is trying to take the US, we should look to the authoritarian playbook of his favorite ally: El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele

@benroyce @Amoshias @bit@ohai.social @StaceyCornelius Self-proclaimed "leftists" with tunnel vision concerning their pet cause are a perennial problem. Harris' election would have meant no ICE operations blanketing Minneapolis or LA or Springfield. "Alligator Alcatraz" wouldn't have been built. The children and mothers who have died from abortion restrictions supported by Trump, wouldn't be dead. Who knows how many trans deaths avoided. Musk and his bros wouldn't have gutted USAID or stolen our SSN info.

The thing about #capitalism is that it gives certain individuals the #opportunity to be so much wealthier than everyone else. #Inequality is it's main selling point.

Capitalism allowed the USA to become the most powerful and richest country with some of the poorest and least powerful citizens in the world.

I'm just putting this here...☺️

It's only a real complaint if it comes from the region of Complaigne.

Otherwise it's just sparkling whine.

Is it really #malpractice if you fail to (state) #murder someone

If only someone had warned us about this.

"he Ontario privacy commissioner said it had already identified this exception "as a significant gap" in 2021, when it called for the adoption of a provincial private-sector privacy law that would more clearly cover the not-for-profit industry."

Me: My wife says I always take things too literally.

Them: Do you know what she means?

Me: Yes. It’s a feminine pronoun.

Who remembers when you could take your inkjet printer ink cartridges into you local computer store and get them refiled and even buy do it yourself refill kits. is that still a thing ?

who did this

Having watched how Trump runs America as a business explains clearly why he is the King of Bankruptcies. No one will match his last great triumph, bankrupting the richest country on earth. he just needs a little more time.
