I've dropped BREACH OF CONTAINMENT to $/£/€0.99 for just one week. Because I can.
Space opera/milSF. I've made a lot of hamfisted attempts at pithy blurbs, but basically it's about a bunch of people caught up in a conflict that turns out to be much bigger - and much different - than what they thought. It's about loyalty and fighting back and the power of one small person doing one small thing. And it's about love, in all its myriad forms.
(Also, because it's space opera/milSF, there are explosions and fighting and political intrigue, and all that meaty stuff I'm supposed to talk about when promoting.)
Yeah, it's a series book - but I've read reviews by people who didn't know that when they picked it up, and enjoyed it as a standalone. (Which is a huge compliment, since I strive for that every time.)
It's my personal favorite of the series (although CONDITION OF WAR is growing on me).
