Why is damn near every post in my feed half obscured behind a "View Full Post" link? And god forbid I should click it.

Rolled to Valentino Pier in #RedHook #Brooklyn Friday afternoon hoping to watch the Queen Mary 2 set sail, but alas, she departed later than the schedule I'd seen and it was too damn windy for me to hang around any longer than I did.

That said, it was F-ing awesome to roll the recently repaved Jay Street and Brooklyn Bridge Boulevard to and from.

Also very cool to pass by an art wall on 2nd Ave in #Gowanus.

Sitting in the #Apple store waiting for my phone's screen to be replaced.

While here, found that the #iPhone Duo is heavy AF if your plan is to use it as a phone. But jeez, it's a nice size if you want a smaller iPad mini. Too bad about the cost.

Midnight. As close to the center of Harlem as you can conceivably get. Dude rolls up to me on a bike and asks… "Do you do the Wednesday Night Skate?"

Nerts! Found an on-line store that has the same model of #Rollerblade #InlineSkating boots as my current very beat-up pair and at a fantastic price, but wow, is their website sketchy. All the highlighted products on their homepage are showing server errors, and Streetview says that the street address on their contact page is a drive-in burger joint in Moline IL.

I've been doing a lot of mural hunting while #InlineSkating #NYC the last few weeks, but Tuesday night I chanced upon a mural so new the paint may not even be completely dry. And reading its background was a freaking education about art.

Rolled with the #NYC Hangueo Friday Night Skate tonight, but bailed when they stopped for a drink or two in west Crown Heights #Brooklyn. Then…

Third episode of traffic violence this year, and the second in which the driver or passenger could NOT be bothered to get out of the car to see if I was okay. This time, I took a fall when taking evasive action to avoid getting hit, and tripped on a curb. Mostly just skinned the F out of my left elbow, but dammit!

Did another #Kobra mural tour while #inlineSkating #NYC on Thursday night and hauled in the last seven (!) murals of the 14 still visible in Manhattan. Amongst them "Ellis" on Hudson St, "Soulphia" around the corner on Clarkson, "Peace" on E 44th and "Genius on a Bicycle" on E 49th.

Now to go see his other murals in Brookoyn and Jersey City.

Continuing recent efforts to visit #Kobra murals in #NYC to avoid burnout #inlineSkating the West Side Bike Path almost every night. Checked four sites on Wed evening, and saw two murals in Soho and the EV. Two others very close by were as I'd seen reported, tagged or painted over and no longer there.

Whilst #InlineSkating #NYC late Tuesday evening, I embarked on a #Kobra mural mini-tour, checking out the three murals in Chelsea. (One of which I had seen before but didn't realize was a Kobra.)

Have rolled by two others in recent days and seen four others at one time or another this year. Five more to go and I'll have seen all of his extant murals in Manhattan.

Saturday was designed to make me feel like a slacker…

There was an #NYC #Groupskate in which at least 5 people started in the morning and rolled 100+ miles (a couple of them 120+).

And over in Minnesota, there was the NorthShore Inline Marathon in which some other people I know rolled 26 miles in less than 70 minutes.

My Saturday? I finally put on my skates around 9 p.m. and rolled a marathon distance in 190 minutes.

It only took 3 months after I was forced to upgrade my office Mac to #macOS #Tahoe for me to figure how out to get the Character Viewer to again show me Unicode code points, and even then it may have taken me 20 minutes. I needed to add a couple Polish lastnames to a publications database, and did not have ź in my website's text utilities lib.

Sure I could have looked up on the Internets, but now I know what to do when I get around to upgrading my personal Macs to #GoldenGate sooner or later.

Also, too damn late to watch more than half.
