🧵UPDATE! & edited re 🦷 costs.

I really felt cared for by all of you tonight. I won’t have any issues meeting my dental costs thanks to the generosity of friends & strangers and so many who shared this post. You all make me feel a little safer & supported in this world. 🥹 Its a rare experience for me. ❤️ Thank you so much.

Will keep this thread updated, pinned, & at sale price.

Paintings are grouped by price & size, highest to lowest. Info & Prices (CAD) in alt text. Boosts appreciated.

Am I the only one cramming for the election like I'm in college studying last minute for an exam? There are certain candidates & amendments I've been following but a number that I don't know much about. I'm happy to see lot of candidates speaking out against data centers & over development. Both parties promise to lower the cost of living so that claim doesn't really sway me either way. One great thing: our county school board finally flipped from MAGA majority to liberal majority.

@Su_G Sharing--still a novel idea in 2026 🫠

We have garbage choices for Gov in #Florida. A white lady asked my mom if she's voting for Byron Donaldson because he's Black. God forbid. We vote on issues, not based on social identities. All he does is read from the MAGA playbook. Meanwhile David Jolly is a former Republican and centrist Dem. After 2020 I no longer vote for the "lesser of two evils" but for candidates I actually believe in. I'm excited to vote for #AngieNixon, Florida #DSA candidate for US Senate.

I added the Kiln Share app link as well as a link to #RocketKiln building information on my "Clay Is for Everyone" blog post, which includes two webinars I offered to help people get started working with #clay from home at minimal cost. #pottery #ceramics https://potterybyosa.com/blogs/clay-people/clay-is-for-everyone

Also, it’s global! I love seeing the map.

I just found out about #Kiln Share—an app that allows you to find people in your area who will let you fire #ceramics in their kiln at low cost. If you don’t already have a membership, ceramics studios often charge a crazy amount per piece to fire, so this is great. I’m going to list my kilns later today. I see that there’s one other shared kiln in my town. I’m curious who they are and I’m interested to see how this may connect me to other ceramic artists in my area. https://www.kilnshare.com/en/sign-up/form/

A post on here about tea tasting has inspired an idea for my next collection. I have to get through the current batch first, though. I’d never even heard of professional or hobby tea tasing before and didn’t know there was specific ceramic ware for such a thing. I don’t plan to make tea tasting sets but seeing them gave me lots of ideas.

Absolutely gorgeous afternoon at the beach. My favorite days are when bright, glaringly sunny skies are replaced with dramatic storm clouds. Lots of brown pelicans diving for fish and a dolphin swam just a few yards out in front of me. Pure magic. #Florida #Nature #Birds

i just took this little (3"x2") porcelain goat dish out of the kiln!

It would be great for teabags or trinkets.
It's even cuter in person!

I’m starting this #audiobook while working in the studio today. As a gardener and a potter, #soil is one of my favorite topics.

Good moonrise, good dogs.

Our planet is really a neat one. Worth fighting for.

This is who the little bowl was for—the exciting news. Meet Luna, adopted today after many weeks of communication and planning with the rescue org. The balance in our house has been restored. Our first pair of dogs passed away and then we adopted another and now we’re back to two dogs and two humans—just the way we like it. Luna is sweet and inquisitive so far. I had already picked out her name and think it’s so cool that she was adopted on the day of the Hunter’s moon. #dogs #dogsofmastodon
