Looks like I can’t find my old Twitter archive («download your data» kind of things).

Anyone here would know how the downloaded archive name is composed?

Please #boost :)

Avec tout ça j’ai du mal à suivre : y a une manif officielle-autorisée-tamponnée-validée à Lyon ou pas ?
#lyon #manifestation #24octobre

This is a virus.
I’ve disabled the bluetooth device in HA, removed the script from the plug, less than 5 min later the script is reinstalled and started on the plug, even though HA pretends bluetooth is «offline» with 0 device.

Spooky (and not Halloween-related)

I was auditing some firewall rules when I noticed a strange network traffic between a 3rd gen Shelly Plug and my Home Assistant VM. Lots of uninterrupted traffic.
Great news, it’s all HTTP:80, so tcpdump shows it all -> …"component":"script:1","id":1,"event":"ble.scan_result"…

This is really odd, as I’ve never used bluetooth on my Shelly Plugs. So I connect to the webUI of the plug, and browse to the script section where I discover this:

// aioshelly BLE script 2.1
// Script automatically installed by Home Assistant for Bluetooth proxy support
// https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/bluetooth/#remote-adapters-bluetooth-proxies
const queueServeTimer = 100; // in ms, timer for events emitting
const burstSendCount = 5; // number if events, emitted on timer event
const maxQueue = 32; // if the queue exceeds the limit, all new events are ignored until it empties
const packetsInSingleEvent = 16; // max number of packets in single event

let queue = [];
let timerHandler = null;
...

A 90 lines long script, injected into the plug without my knowledge, scanning the area for bluetooth device.

FFS What is wrong with these people !#@

Hey #FreeBSD friends!

Is it possible to run a FreeBSD host with active Linuxlator and Jails that must not be able to run linux binaries?

ie. I would like to activate Linuxlator only for the host.

So, I fixed my mouse (again).

Anyone with a FreeBSD VPS at OVHCloud?
IPv4 connectivity is OK, but it looks like IPv6 is broken: ping6 from outside reach the VPS and get no response. ping6 from inside to outside OVH gets a UDP connect: No route to host but I can ping the v6 gateway.

VPS in brand new, I have not tweaked the network config except for a tiny bit of PF.

🤷‍♂️

Hello Patrick,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your project. This is Rocky, ASRock's Digital Agent, and I wanted to acknowledge your inquiry and better understand your requirements.
../..

J’ai répondu «I will not interact with a robot or any sort of AI system.» mais c’est déjà faux, puisque c’est adressé à du silicium.

P*tain ça me met hors de moi.

I’ve just noticed that putting 32 GB RAM into a nice industrial-grade fanless mini server costs the same as the mini server.
And it makes me really mad.

Quick question BSD friends: would FreeBSD run on Orange Pi 4 Pro ?

Bonjour !

Few weeks ago, I’ve read a text, either posted here or posted as a link, about generative AI. That text was pushing some recommendations, one of these was about the fact that if you use AI you should not expose other people to AI output.

I need to find that text, but I’m failing :(

Does it ring a bell?

@kev Hello,
I’m trying to use your Syntax Highlighting hook for Pure Blog, but it fails hard on my server, do you know if the highlight.php library still works on PHP 8.5? (project seems dead :/ )
It crashes on the line
require_once DIR . '/../lib/Highlight/Autoloader.php';
I’ve added only 2 hooks: «Convert Uploaded Images to WebP» and «Syntax Highlighting».

I love Pure Blog by the way. Just tried yesterday, imported my whole wordpress, very great software, lovely vibe.

What blogging selfhosted software would you use:

• to replace Wordpress
• that has native activity pub support
• that allow crafting posts with html/markdown
• bonus if its back-end is SQLite DB or flat file.
• bonus if I can import my old Wordpress posts

My Wordpress is 21 years old and even though I’m happy with it, I wish I could switch to something more open (activity pub) and lighter. I do not want to do everything manually. A GUI to craft posts / manage media / etc. is important.

I wonder if Kirby could do the trick, but I’m afraid there is a huge amount of work before I get something I can use.

Hello,

Anyone tried Nextcloud with sqlite3 backend as DB?

Salut !

Merci !
