When you’re talking to me online, this is who you’re talking to

Worked on enemy types that have multiple hit points. Classic sprite flash with a health bar. Took a while to get this right.

Just browsing through the bandcamp new releases feed and it’s good to see a bit of a renaissance for shoegaze bands. Lots of new good stuff out there.

A reminder of things to change between now and Nov 3:

(Just so I don't confuse anyone into thinking daylight savings changes this weekend, it's next weekend. Extra hour of Halloween party! )

In most of the United States, daylight saving time ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, when clocks turn back from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m. local time.

My overriding feeling after seeing You Can See Everything yesterday is that there are indeed some absolutely terrible people in the world without an ounce of self-awareness. Often they come from money and are existing inside an economic system that rewards them.

I’m not even sure I liked the movie tbh, I’m still trying to figure that out.

That’s the perfect start for Liverpool really, Brighton were just starting to settle into their game.

Liverpool v Brighton is the game viewing pick for me today.

Currently, I am still working long days on the renovation work for the new gallery @naarden_vesting , but sometimes I do long for this place in the old gallery... #art #flowers #painting #galerie #fineart

Gehenna - Seen Through The Veils Of Darkness (Second Spell)

2025 reissue of this mid-90s Norwegian classic from a band that imo never really got the recognition they deserved. It’s very synth-forward with an emphasis on a haunted ethereal atmosphere with avant-garde touches. I love it personally, the cold mid-pace Black Metal riffs hit just a little harder when they do break through.

Also the reissue is great and features a fantastic booklet and a poster.

Right, think I’ll put the Arsenal game on. City lost lol!

Morning all.

Ipswich v Forest was entertaining earlier today but I think we were lucky to get a draw there. Forest look a decent side.

As there are no Fish and Chip shops in the whole of America (or at least anywhere near me) I’m having to make my own chips with curry sauce tonight.

Heads up for anyone using an oldish version of @atuin an email was sent out as you’ll want to update your system certs and atuin itself due to a bad certificate. I also updated my password just in case.
