IMHO the people maintaining a mobile OS do not have to be good at PR. the grapheneos people are clearly great at what they do and if that comes at the price of them not being the incarnation of a charismatic k-pop idol then so be it.

This actually makes me think I should start supporting them.

I noticed a lot of people have a lot of alt text in their profile, lgbqt+ stuff and so on and I am aggressively white male and ablebodied and frankly to dumb and only realize after years on mastodon why people are doing this.

I want to do better. Do you happen know a good todo list / guide for straight white males on the internet?

How do blind people deal with lack of alt text? Are multimodal llms any help or even a replacement for alt texts?
