I choose to believe he'd probably have laughed at this one. #death #ohcaptainmycaptain

aw F....

#DeathOfACelebrity :(

AI clickbait .. so much AI clickbait ... *sighs* .. I see AI people everywhere!!!

The Sick Sense!

seeing so much of this right now! #AI #graphics #art

Anthropic lost €72.37bn in the first half of this year, double what it lost across 2025 altogether.

The company's overall revenue was €14.53bn for the six-month period.

I mean this is not million ... this is billions .. operating costs are going to be different (€621.55 million first half) from the hardware investments / loans / whatever payments as well BUT those hardware investments will need to be continually upgraded and improved. New models I presume will need greater memory / processing

I mess with AI every so often ... it impacts me heavily and it's good to know where we are with it. I see a huge amount of AI generated content on FB (I should get off FB) ... and it's insane how much people love and share this content. I mean you mention it's AI and suddenly people remove the post from their wall. If someone is generating a LOT of content all the time ... chances are ...

Yesterady a Canadian friend told me she had no idea what "giving out to" meant :D That one that threw me I didn't think it was just an Irish / UK thing :D I'm normally pretty good with the language differences

sweet zombie cheeses ... a cyber correspondent who has never heard of PHP ... I mean ... how do you even get the job? Wouldn't they have had a blog at some point ...

oh great we're going to have the military on our streets for the protests on Saturday now ... what's the worst that could happen! #France

So nVidia has bought a stake in French health platform Doctolib ... nVidia being an "AI" company of sorts and non EU based hmm ... what could go wrong with all our personal information!

#Nantes

Bit of heavy reading this morning ... #funnies #jokes #silly #dadjokes

The police aren't allowed to use stun grenades on school students anymore (After blowing off one students hand) ... I mean you can't make this shit up #France

Sometimes you want to bury your head in the sand just a little bit. It's not that you don't want to know what's happening in the world it's just you want a break for a few days. When you read the comments and you pray they are AI generated instead of actual humans cus if they are human then wow just wow ... ok obscure rant over :D

More fun and games in #France today with more protests at the lycees ... it's a bit insane one kid has lost a hand .. another blinded in one eye. the use of the CRS (riot police basically ... reserves but generally heavy handed) is disproportionate they fire tear gas like it's candy. Most lycees in #nantes have been shut Monday / Tuesday after fires at multiple schools ...

So one kid has lost a hand and another kid has been blinded in one eye by a rubber bullet ... you don't sent riot police in to deal with 15 / 16 years olds *sighs*

Ended up finding an #acoustic version of #Bombs by #Faithless so I had to try #singing it. It feels so in tune with the world we live in right now (unfortunately)

#cover #song #coversong #AcousticCover #Acoustic #Faithless #singing

Rage against the Kneecap! :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDFzlqhgpMU

Plot twist ... AI becomes self-aware and commits suicide ... cus it can't deal with all this shit!!

Have made son's invites the last few years for this Birthday .. then I head on into C2S in #nantes to print them out. This is the first year he made them himself! I still had to head in to print them out. No he didn't use AI but managed it in Canva ... he's 11 ... it really makes me wonder at some of the graphics I get sent by people at times :D :D
