Giraffaela plant eine Karriere als Supermodel. Sie ist allerdings schlacksig, hager und ein bisschen unbeholfen. Auch in Modefragen zeigt sie sich eher unsicher.

When driving, teach your kids to count cyclists, so it becomes second nature to them to look for cyclists, once they start driving.

Today’s hike coming down Mill D South Fork into Big Cottonwood Canyon, Northern Utah.

Interesting point of view from DJT’s niece Mary Trump. Beyond the deplorable state of Donald’s psyche it’s food for thought about why so many people find his brand of hatefulness attractive and wind up voting for him and his ilk.

I’ve been on many a wild goose chase but I wasn’t chasing the geese this morning, I promise. Little Dell Reservoir, Northern Utah.

Hey, Texans! Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote. There has been much fuckery afoot this year. Check to make sure you’re still registered. Link below to state gov.

If you are one of the hundreds of thousands of people thrown off the rolls for being brown, beige, uni student or active military, you can fix it tomorrow, but that’s the last day.

I should further note that the "new, improved website" is kinda crap. Early voting starts october 19. The GOP has moved all sorts of voting locations, especially in Dem areas, so find out now where you're supposed to vote, do it early, get it out of the way.

Als Georgette Sumsum eines Morgens aufwachte, fand sie ihre Hand in einen stachligen Kaktus verwandelt.

It’s not a pristine wilderness scene but this colorful set of aspen trees at the entrance to the town of Brighton, Utah caught my eye yesterday.

Some color in the high country… From the trail between Silver Lake and Twin Lakes near Brighton, Utah.

In terms of #Photography I switched my camera. I’ve used a Sony Alpha for the past few years but I’ve never felt comfortable w/ it, so I dusted off my old micro four thirds camera, a Lumix GX-85. I like the small form factor, can just slip it in my pocket. I don’t really like the phone camera either, although I’ll use it if I don’t have anything else.

Truly a historic moment for Canada and the EU:

In her state of the union address, Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen invites Canada to become an associated member.

This will not mean a full EU ascension of Canada, but most likely a very close collaboration similar to the Norwegian arrangement.

Canada, we love you!
