Wishing everyone a good and safe day.

That moment of relief when an album listed as New Age turns out to be Ambient 😉
Decorating supplies got and someone is clearing her office so I can get started on preparing the walls.
Managed to use the term "performative bull sh***ers" in a discussion about LinkedIn earlier which is fitting given their advertising slogan at the moment.
Just as hoped the hosting costs for my static site using CloudFront and S3 have dropped to an estimated cost of $0.00
Wow rumours that Cadillac F1 are up for sale.
On the back of them telling their UK engineers that they would have to move to Indianapolis or find another job I was expecting 3 or 4 years of poor results before the plug was pulled but it seems that theory has been blown out of the water.
Just enough Stilton left to use on some cheeseburgers later 😋
Just seen the groundworks going in at Aldi for the Deposit Return station, was surprised it doesn't cover glass 🤷♂️ just plastic and metal single use drinks containers, also doesn't cover most plastic milk bottle.
I was not expecting this level of drizzle when I decided to walk into town and back, now rather damp and back home.
Well that's the SQ-80 back together, took quite a while for the battery to make it's way around Europe to get here, nice to have it not forgetting everything when you switch it off.
Kicking myself a little as I chucked some SD 3.5inch discs out the other week and I want to see if the drive can format a disc, I'll have to grab one out of the Emax II discs.
Monday afternoon chill tunes:
The first question in cyber security should be "does this thing need to be smart?"
Ikea run done this morning with ZERO* additional items added to the order.
* OK some Dumle and those little cinnamon roll things.
Here's Sir Brian May's energy packed cover of the Star Fleet theme tune that he did because he enjoyed watching the show with his son so much. It had quite the line up for the recording.
I think I've managed to dislodge the theme tune to Star Fleet from my head.
Just back from a walk and it clouds over, think we timed that about spot on, also managed a few more photos while out.
Someone on a photo forum is asking about how reliable digital cameras are and if they become obsolete quickly because he's thinking of switching from film to digital, I can't work out if this is someone trolling or not.
It would be quite the feat to have made it to 2026 still shooting film unless you were some sort of hardcore B&W film, develop and print at home person.
I think today is going to be a lazy one, I'm sure that 4 hours spent slowly walking around looking at stuff wears me out more than going on a proper hike in the peak district.
Plenty of tea and planning out some locations to go and photograph.
Well that was a tiring day, went to the Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens, it's quite the large site and we managed to spend over 4hrs there including a bite to eat at the cafe and there is still more for us to find. Must admit it's not the sort of place I'd normally go and the first half of the walk was a bit heavy but the afternoon brightened up and it was a bit more gardens and woodland.
