Ich hab gestern endlich meine Therapeutin gefragt, ob wir uns mit Vornamen ansprechen und Siezen können statt mit „Frau Eldritch“, weil sich das einfach immer unangenehmer und falsch anfühlt. Ich will einfach nicht mehr so tun als ob ich eine Frau wäre. Und es war überhaupt kein Problem und es freut mich dass es gar nicht so kompliziert war wie ich dachte :blob_rainbow:

I finally asked my therapist yesterday if we could use first names while still addressing each other with the polite form instead of ‘Ms Eldritch’, because it just feels more and more wrong and uncomfortable. I just don’t want to pretend anymore that I’m a woman. And it wasn’t a problem at all, and I’m glad it wasn’t as complicated as I’d thought :blob_rainbow:

Ausserdem ist unabhängiger Journalismus wichtig. Und für eine linke queere WG gehört sich zusätzlich zum Republik Abo auch ein WOZ Abo, finde ich.

(Beide sind sehr gute deutschschweizer Publikationen, bei der Republik gibt es auch gerade ein Angebot und beide sind auch im Fediverse vertreten)

To add: this is from a Central European moderate climate perspective for those kinds of climates. And also, I mean this as a political thing. If air conditioning keeps you healthy and alive please get air conditioning if you can.
I think that the political and activist focus should not be mainly on air conditioning but more on collective and longer term measures. But of course air conditioning, especially energy saving ones like the heat pump based ones, need to be part of a comprehensive plan

Ich bin gerade so sauer. Anstatt dass die furchtbare Tat klar als das benannt wird was sie (mMn) ist, ein versuchter Femizid, wird sie instrumentalisiert um zu hetzen. Das Problem sind Männer. Das Problem ist das Patriarchat. Ein Hans oder ein Friedrich hätten sowas genauso machen können und tun es by the way auch regelmässig. Nur interessiert es halt dann niemanden.
