Fun little joke …

Felt like #USWNT has some positive moments but overall far too tentative. Too much passing around the back. Seemed scared and couldn’t figure out how to break down Japan. This is why they play these friendlies, to grow and experiment, but still hate to see the women lose.

What to do in the US when every day there are new atrocious and egregious things being done by our government.
This will not solve the problem, but I think we need to remember our humanity and share love and kindness to those around us. Even the folks that we may not feel deserve it.

This football season has been quite a wild ride. This will go down in history as one of the most amazing turn around stories and hopefully sets the groundwork for many years to come. Congratulations to Kenny Dillingham, Cam Skattebo, Sam Leavitt, and countless other players who have come up with big plays and stepped up in big moments. All the cliches work for a reaso

#USMNT got the job done. Wasn’t pretty. The pitch was akin to a memory foam mattress that was shredding. But a win is a win is a win, especially away in #CONCACAF

Decent enough half for #USMNT

Some dodgey defending and goalie bails himself out.

This field is really atrocious.

I’m supposed to much older and wiser but my goodness I keep falling for the same old ruse. My college football team has a young new coach and the energy he’s bringing to his role is infectious. This video interview says it all. The team just had a signature win over a ranked opponent and the student rushed the field. The best kind of bedlam. Feed this into my v

games galore but how to play https://crackedgregs.bearblog.dev/games-galore-but-how-to-play/ #boardgames
How are we here in 2024 with the board-game renaissance in full swing and still healthy if not growing, and game publishers still do not have reliable “how to play” videos created. I mean even if they don’t want to - or don’t have the talent to - create a video, there are plenty who can and would be happy to. It’s crazy.
I’m fully aware there are a plethora of YouTube creators that mak

@overcastfm hope that made sense - kind of hard to describe. Thanks for your consideration.

@overcastfm I’ve noticed that my playlist settings for “high priority” podcasts doesn’t work as it used to. Prior to the change, my high priority podcasts would mean that a reg priority would load below any existing high priority pods in my playlist. Now I’m not exactly sure what is happening. I just subscribed to a new podcast and it’s not a high priority and it’s downloading and showing up as the first podcast to be played, ahead of other high priority podcasts in the playlist.

Penalties are always a coin flip. Today it was Uruguay that came out on top. They play Colombia next. That game might see someone get shanked.

A shaky Brazil side put up a fight but they were let down time and time again by poor play. We did get to see Sam the Eagle coaching from the sidelines so we will always have that.

With this match undoubtedly going into penalties, what kind of insane drama will the soccer gods cook up?

There is no way this goes off as a normal shootout.

This isn’t even soccer I’m watching. It’s some insane prison rules, no holds barred, foul fest of an event.

Maybe we just go straight to penalties before someone really gets hurt?

Every time Brazil has the ball they could call a foul on Uruguay. Every time. It’s like watching offensive lines in the NFL with holding.

Clearly the referee has his work cut out for him, but is he up to the task. Nah.
