hello do you need RTL debug assistance, RTL debug husky is here to help

did i like miss something or is this whats going on?

congratulations web platform, I guess it only took you 30 years?

Wait are passkeys just SSH keys but for the web?

i would assume that this is the powersupply?

Long shot but has anyone seen a DG645 (or other SRS test equipment do this). Removing the power cord and reinserting it makes it boot up properly (but the front power switch does not do the trick)

This may look like an LED taped into an optics tube thingy, but it is in fact a rubidium disciplined LED taped into an optics tube thingy

Another day of doing cutting edge research

Physics departments are crazy

Today I got to rack two servers with a terabyte of RAM and four MI350s each at work in a rack that also has a server with a floppy disk drive and an ancient Celeron (I think like an actual P6 based one or very nearly)

Underneath the L bracket are three copper MCPCBs holding red green and blue laser diodes. There's going to be a few dichroics inside to combine the light from each. The goal here is to inject light from a red-NIR (and hopefully MIR) laserbox for calibrating an astronomical instrument

Goal here is to inject laser light into this DLP projector in place of the red LED

About to apply violence (an endmill) to a rather complex optical assembly

If you're rolling out technology to a large pharmacy chain that results in pharmacists being in a rush the entire time they're on shift, maybe don't do that

I never want my pharmacist to be in a rush

i have a really distinct memory of being bored and poking around as a teenager and finding an open directory with schematics for a lot of the keck observatories control electronics

this is already happening to an extent; a significant portion of my childhood was spent finding weird and exciting little hidden things on the internet and that is just no longer the way things are going to work

I think one of the major consequences of the last year is that a lot of joyful stuff will just be taken off the internet because its no longer worth the effort to provide it

ebay is always like uwu, want to make an offer on this random piece of industrial control electronics?

Some good advice for the PHP folks from Panasonic's clean room tool division circa 1998
