This case is sickening, but what is equally sickening is that doctors in Canada have their legal bills paid by the Canadian Medical Protective Association. The CMPA is heavily subsidized by provincial governments; hundreds of millions of dollars of your taxes are spent every year to defend doctors like this guy. The deck is stacked in favour of doctors.
#onpoli Doug Ford's government is changing the OHIP rules so each person is limited to a lifetime maximum of 48 treatments at pain clinics. This is lifesaving treatment for so many people suffering from chronic pain, and it's absolutely obscene that they're doing this.

Such cruelty.
There’s money for a private jet, and a tunnel under the 401, but heaven forbid that we adequately fund education, healthcare, childcare - things we actually need. Throw the bums out of Queens Park.

What watching the midterm results come in last night felt like in real time:
We in Ontario need to do exactly what the US did last night. I’d prefer an orange wave, but I’ll settle for red. Throw Doug Ford out before they wreck everything.

What was that old Winston Churchill quote? Something about the US always doing the right thing, but only after trying everything else.
Bring on the little ankle biters! I’m ready! Happy Halloween, everyone!

Sick (Digital) about Vivek's pro-pedophilia attack ad...

Vivek knew what he was doing
I think Vivek Ramasmarmy knew exactly what he was doing with his attack ad on Amy Acton. Signaling to the patriarchy that abusers will be defended and females will be expended has certainly worked for the regime.
2026 status:
✅ Orbán lost Hungary.

✅ Bolsonaro lost Brazil.
Netanjahu lost Israel (Pending)
Trump lost USA. (Pending)
@benroyce @Ellana @MikeDunnAuthor @ignova The longer term plan must surely be to give you Americans the ability to choose between more than just Dumb and Useless v. Dumb and Fascist. But right now those are the choices and you WILL get one or the other. And don't tell me you can't see that one is orders of magnitude worse than the other. One will be an inert obstacle to getting better choices and it will be hard to overcome. The other is planning to actively remove your ability to choose.
To my 30,000 followers: I need your help.
The US midterms are just 15 days away, and they will decide whether a new Congress holds Trump accountable. So I made a video that drives a freight train through Trump’s most costly lie: that other countries pay his tariffs.
Please share it far and wide, and help get people out to vote. Because America has no kings.

I love Heather Cox Richardson’s perspective on politics.
Now, it is easy to think I have somehow been suppressed, but the algorithm actually has the stats to back it up:
While my regular viewers watch the video with great enthusiasm, newcomers to the channel only watch 4 minutes before leaving. This is extremely low for my channel.
But rest assured, I will be analysing this outcome in detail and be back with even more hard hitting content.
Thank you to everyone who has shared the video.
