We are getting ready for Samhain!

Bonfire and Jack O Lanterns.

Daily Art #5

This might be my last collage for awhile. I went through 5 different concepts for a larger piece before tossing them all and going for a small collage. It was almost 2am by the time I finished. I am pleased with it!

Follow along for more daily art, and let me know if you want to join my msil club!

Yesterday's daily art

I've been into collage and junk journaling lately. Yesterday I found my stash of magazines. I grabbed a few and this is the result.

There's definitely things I might do differently next time. I think the flowers in the front make the background too busy, but I didn't have the patience to precisely cut it out.

Overall I really like it.

This is my #introduction so I can find my people! 🥰

I am an #artist experimenting with a wide range of media and subject, and I'd like to start a #MailClub for my #art.

I'm a #witch and a life coach. I help people use #magic to heal and transform their lives.

I read #tarot and make wands.

I live in the #country in the middle of the #woods where I #homestead with my partner. I have 4 #cats and 1 #dog who thinks she's a cat #horse.

Other things I'm into: #meditation #gardening #swordfighting

If you're putting off starting a meditation practice because you struggle to find 15 minutes of quiet to yourself, start by finding the pockets where you can breathe for 2.

You did what they said you should do:

You got the degree
You have the career
You're in a relationship
You've gone to therapy
You do the self care

You're struggling. You're exhausted. You're burnt out.

You're frustrated, throwing yourself at a wall hoping things will change. Something has to give, because you can't keep going like this.

Book a Light Your Path #Reading to illuminate your best next step so you know exactly what to do to change your life.

It was enough of an operation that I turn off the heating pad and M gets fully dressed.

Somehow the dog had precision bomber aim and nothing ended up on the adhd piles of shame left over from yesterday's organizing of the art corner/my desk.

Still, it was bad. 4 piles, 2 puddles, half a roll of toilet paper, the remainder of the paper towels, and one cat concerningly curious about the biohazard later everything was cleaned up.

The dog remains in the crate.

I am still awake.

Fin.

So i call from the bed, frustrated af, "can you put the dog in her crate? She won't settle!"

M attempts to get the dog into the crate. She refuses and hides doing the "I did a bad" thing dogs do.

M is like "she won't come. She's being guilty." Then goes in search of the evidence.

"Oh god! No! I know what she did! She pissed and shit on the floor!"

He finally gets the dog in the crate and Operation Mud Butt ensues.

So i was like half asleep. Uncomfortable af. Heating pad on my neck. Cuddled up with M.

The dog would not settle. All I hear is claclclackclackclack

Finally sorta doze off.

Time passes.

All of a sudden M bolts out of bed and bext thing I hear

Crunchcrunchcrunchcrunch
Clackclackclackclack

What i made yesterday.

A quick mixed media doodle, filled one page in my sketch book with doodles, turned one doodle into a quick finished piece.

Yesterday I organized most of my supplies, which inspired me to play with them. These are the results.

Art is play. Let go of what the finished piece should be. Try different things. Explore different media. Express yourself.

Channeling my Inner Jackson Pollock
Acrylic on canvas
16x20

I did this one a few years ago.

I love the colors, texture, and movement.

This came out as I was experimenting with splatter painting, color, texture. Doing wild chaotic things helps get my creative juices flowing and inspires new ideas.

This painting is available for sale. $320

Do you wonder what path to take? What choice to make? What action to follow through on?

Maybe you wonder if the person you are seeing is long term potential.

Maybe you are question whether or not to leave your job and move on to another opportunity.

Maybe you feel stuck in your life and wonder what your best next step is.

If any of this sounds like you, book a Light Your Path Reading so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

I just successfully ran my first debian update using the command line.

I feel very.... extra.

I never did launch my patreon. Maybe in the future. I have so many things going on I'm kind of all over the place as I figure out my best path forward.

I need to remove myself from anything associated with META, and probably the other ones, as well. One step at a time.

Anyway, follow me for:
The kind of life coaching that transforms your life
Witch shit
Wands and things for your rituals
Weird and whimsical illustrations
Abstract paintings
Homesteading
Crafty things

In the next 1-2 months I'll be launching my patreon. I've been doing a lot of writing and drawing. There will be blogs and illustrations to start, and other things like guided meditations, workshops, and workbooks as we go along.

I saw a fb add for some dresses and I go "OH CUTE!!!" Then I saw it was for shein and went 😑 "oh, ew, nm"

*happy dance*
*happy dance*

That is all.

This morning my partner woke up and I said, "I have to give you a warning..."

He goes "okay....."

"I'm very adhd today"

He looked like that was both better and worse than what he was expecting me to say, "Okay. I'll just hide in my office."
