OH: "The inventor of autocorrect will rot in Hello."

I *love* these works!

Any time I need a pick-me-up, I reach for Breath, Warmth, and Dream. I've reread it many times.

This Kickstarter is for Khumalo Tales, the final story. Which I cannot wait to read.

Later today, @zzclaybourne will read a passage from it, at an authors' reading, 3pm US EDT (19:00 UTC) at https://www.twitch.tv/csecooney

@mwl thinking of you.

Yesterday I had an appointment with one of my doctors. I'd had some blood work done last week he didn't like. So I now have an MRI scheduled next weekend to screen for cancer.

I'm seeing my internist later today. If he orders an MRI for my shoulder pain, maybe I can get a BOGO discount from the radiologist?

My brother asked me for a single paragraph work biography, for a family tree he's been working on.

A lifetime-long resume / CV in a single paragraph? Huh.

Planning a motorcycle trip to the Hocking Hills next month. For GPS routing, I must design my routes using Google MyMaps, save them as waypoints and tracks in keyhole markup files, then import these into Garmin Basecamp, convert the tracks back to routes, then transfer them to the bike's GPS.

Why all this faff? Garmin's Basecamp is completely terrible for route creation.

@mwl you still considering expatriation?

I can't stop recommending @zzclaybourne 's works. A friend bought a copy of Breath, Warmth, and Dream just to close my pie hole. She had to stop me from constantly raving about it

Here, Zig shares an essay on the joy of reading. It's wonderful, and ... I'll shut up now.

I can NOT recommend @zzclaybourne enough times to enough people.

Hiking in the Rockies this week.

I finished @marthawells's Queen Demon. Kept me enthralled for 3 days.

I won't spoil anything. I'll just say I'm waiting, very very impatiently, for this engaging story to continue, and for these wonderful characters to return.

I've started reading "Queen Demon" by the amazing @marthawells and am really enjoying how this sequel propels me right back into the story. The opening just flowed perfectly from the prior novel, time jumps and all. Loved "The Demon King" and am happy to return to this complicated world.

@mwl seven of us met this morning at 9am, and traveled quite far in order to get some ice cream. Mine was a 1/2 order, NSA. Still good, still worth leaving home at 8:30am and getting home after 6:30pm.

I'm watching S5E48 of The Repair Shop. Dom is repairing a very small wheelbarrow from the 1910's.... and the wooden wheels need an expert wheelwright to fabricate them.

Of course they have one handy. His family have been making wheels since 1331, but his tools are more modern: 17th century. 🙄

There is now a confirmed diagnosis; one of the two that were likely. Additional testing is scheduled for tomorrow.

Sitting in an ER waiting room waiting for news, as one does, while a friend is being seen. We started out at an urgent care clinic earlier today, and left there with two divergent possible diagnoses, neither good.
