Hm. Should really think about finding a (non-drag, queer) support act for The Bleeding Obvious gig in Wakefield on 27 Nov. Most of the folk who were around "back then" have moved on or stopped performing...

I see "Rice Krispies" has joined "Dulux One-Coat" and "Royal Mail Tracked 48" as a thinly-veiled marketing lie.

Trying to stay out of local arts scene politics is an art in itself, I feel.

Most things on my to-do list for today have been cancelled or postponed, which is BLOODY ANNOYING.

Every photo I'm seeing of the toddler is reminding me of Steve McCrosky in Airplane.

Hairdresser appt moved to Friday. Not going to tell the wife, I'll see if she says it looks nice when I see her later.

It would really *suck* if you'd spent half a billion dollars trying to buy an election and then you didn't manage to.

@jess Fucker's going to be absolutely furious, who knows what shit he's going to try and pull the next 2 years.

Spent the past 8 working hours faffing around auditing some Claude clanker code which talks to an admin system it shouldn't have been let near, by screen-scraping and directing POST/GET requests. I also discovered it by accident while investigating another problem. Infuriating.

I'm calmer than I was yesterday though.

Blue is the warmest colour.

Yet, as the LINO wave in the UK continues, I find it difficult to be as elated and optimistic as some. It's much better, though. Let's see what legislation and control brings before we celebrate too hard.

Whatever happens, we're in for another tough few years I think.

In better news today is I've been booked for an absolute BANGER of a Christmas gig, in a nightclub. Proper Studio54 vibes ahoy!

Spiders Nightclub in Hull has closed down and the freehold put up for sale. I am sadface.

The afternoon's shenanigans have caused me a banger of a stress headache.

Well, Mixxx seems to do exactly what I want, without the bloat of Traktor, and it works with the cheap Serato surface into the bargain.

Brilliant!
