Interesting, isn't it? 😂

One of the most correct explanations. @randahl thanks a lot!

This is Matt. He lost his files. Don't be like Matt. Use protection. 😉

I knew one day this crazy "Skynet" would start cooling its GPUs with vodka, so I wrote some protection for you.

Bunkerbox: wrapper around Kata Containers that locks your AI agent inside its own microVM. You decide what it can see, touch, mount, write, or connect to.

Don't erase your machine like Matt. Unless you use Windows—Bunkerbox doesn't run there. 😘

I am old and stupid.

That’s why I make things dead simple and document everything.

Scored 39%. That puts me right on the edge: just tech-bro-adjacent enough to understand the memes, not enough to start calling coffee chats "high-leverage relationship capital".

...but we still love it, right? 🤦‍♂️

Somewhat horrifying

Just added another sensor to #sysinspect — "procnotify".

In this very short demo: as long as a new process is "bash" (use "zsh", LOL), #sysinspect SIGKILLs it.

Key points:
1. procnotify detects a new process
2. a model is getting triggered (in this case just a process killer)

Currently:
Native: #linux, #netbsd
Others: external fallback path.

Microsoft being Microsoft...

Forgot I was watching /tmp, leaving minion running, and then ran some task that literally temporarily floods the /tmp.

Hundreds of file events flying through sensors to handlers to pipeline.

Didn’t even notice, CPU is barely waking up.

Apparently the event loop doesn’t panic under load. Who knew. 😈

As promised at #CfgMgmtCamp 2026 — Sysinspect now speaks events.

Yes, @purpleidea I joined the club. You were doing this for years — respect where it's due 🙂

The deal is simple: sensors emit structured events, then handlers decide what happens next: telemetry, model runs, scripts, pipelines. Or everything in parallel — that's up to you.

Did I mention it also works on BSD over NFS? 😈
