Less than 32% turnout in #HamOnt election.
Horrible. I don't want to hear a peep out of 2/3 of the people of #Hamilton if things go badly. 5% of the eligible people elected the mayor.

RIP Walter Koenig. What a fabulous character actor.

Star Trek actor Walter Koenig dies aged 90

I liked Walter Koenig as Ensign Chekov in "Star Trek" (TOS), and his performance of Alfred Bester in "Babylon 5" was superb. Bester featured in 12 episodes (it feels like far more) throughout five seasons of "Babylon 5", but every time he appeared had such an impact that he was the highlight of the episode, and that's what endeared Walter Koenig to me as an actor.

"Be seeing you!"

This is Nettie. A chippie from the backyard. She got caught up in some bird netting from somewhere. It was around her neck and her right front paw.

We were able to lure her into a "custom" designed Tupperware trap, with peanuts. The mesh bag around the box is because she is very fast. Faster than a speeding bullet, etc.

We took her to Hobbitstee, a wildlife sanctuary and rehab in Haldimand near us.

They gave her a whiff of anesthesia to cut the netting and to examine her and will keep her over the winter to rehab. The netting had dug into her neck and paw. She will be released in the spring within a km of where she was caught.

We called her Nettie; Chantal from Hobbitstee confirmed her pronouns. 😄

Uh oh

Alistair Johnston came on at 52 minutes and left at 73 minutes for #Celtic in the #ScottishPremierLeague match vs #Hibs

I didn't see, hopefully just an abundance of caution. I had been hoping to see him in November vs #Guatemala
