In 1977, Eames released the "Powers of Ten" zoom that took you through all orders of magnitude, from subatomic particles to the edge of the observable universe.
Today, Thomas Mahlke has released a new and extended, moderated flight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLCTA55LIag plus an app for Windows and Mac, so you can experience the flight interactively in real-time:

I'm also releasing these two pictures of a real-time storm scene simulation that I started to work on seven years ago... This simulation shall form the basis of a new 360° art installation about rising sea levels.

I'm experimenting with the simulation of underwater caustics again. The nature of this light phenomenon has fascinated me for more than thirty years now.

Beautiful works respecting the matter they‘re made of.
"Stefania Urist’s artwork explores the entangled and fraught relationship between humans and the environment through research to educate, motivate, and question current systems that overuse and abuse plants, land, water, and the environment."
Does anybody agree that investment in decentralized solar power plants now would also help establishing a better failover infrastructure for the potential case of future military conflicts?

Finally, you can listen to many of the monologues and other scenes from my interactive environment “Shelter (Zuflucht)” on the internet.
On the web page of the work, I linked six sound examples and a compilation for you. With this work, I try to describe an escape situation from the inside.
