Question for law professors: when you post a draft on @ssrn.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy, do you add keywords or JEL codes under the abstract on your first page?

Do you add any special metadata to the document before posting it?

Agreed! Sadly, none of the Trump voters I know have any idea who this is. April Trump is all about just patriotism and immigration and using American military power and putting far-left liberals in their place.

Law profs - ICYMI, @washulawreview.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy just posted a Call for Papers on Scholastica for their upcoming Symposium on "The Many Faces of the State." What a great idea for a symposium - very timely and innovative.

Re-upping my question for law profs: does your law school have an official policy about AI use by students? I'm serving on a committee to update-or-abandon our AI policy, and we are very interested in learning what other law schools are currently doing.

I also wish more people were discussing this. For a few years, experts familiar with the Guyana-Venezuela situation have been warning that it would be where WWIII begins. British, American, and Chinese interests in the Guyana oil patch that Venezuela claims have been simmering for awhile.

Can anyone tell me which early 20th-century columnist wrote something like this quote? "Arguments about food are really arguments about who has better taste. Arguments about art are really arguments about who is more refined. Arguments about politics are really arguments about who is more virtuous"

I'm fine with calling universal basic income "Trump Stimulus Checks" if that's what it takes.

I wish he was one of the types of Christians who thinks lying is a sin.

I really like Tolstoy's entry for December 29, so I thought I'd share it.

#Law profs and #lawyers who did a federal clerkship in recent years: did professors ever send reprints of their new articles or copies of their new books to your chambers? If so, were they discarded or kept? Ridiculed or read?

If you're wondering how some colleagues and relatives can possibly vote for Trump, look at how different news outlets phrased their headline for yesterday's horrific MSG rally. In the MAGA echo chamber, they don't hear about the really bad stuff:
