Head to https://music.apple.com/us/ipod to experience the magic of #iPod 25 years after its debut!

(Kids, ask your parents if you don't know how to operate this thing)

Gotta finish the new Annalee Newitz one first, I'm getting behind!

At work at the moment there's a bit of a "competitive #MicrosoftTeams backgrounds" thing going on. Here's my Monday morning entry - this is my normal office... animated. I'll use OBS to composite myself in with its virtual webcam on a real call.

Slightly more devy blogging,.. MCP servers for voice controlling LMS via Home Assistant, and how it's all really still just about software engineering.

Apologies for all the LEGO lately.
I’ve had Voltron for about 8 years, recently his arms fell off.
I suspect these clip bricks are at the limit for holding him together, look at the state of the blue ones! None of them had any real grip left to them.
Anyways new parts installed and he’s back to overseeing my day job.

Not paying eBay prices so pick a brick to the rescue.

Looks like my garden centre bargain scotch bonnets may actually ripen!

Frozen this crop could last me years as I’ve only one recipe that uses them!

Sunday afternoon reliving childhood trauma.

I didn't plan to spend Saturday afternoon switching password managers, but needs (and morals) must.

Having a go at blogging, because why not? Some background on BoardOil.

Ooo freaky. We've been rewatching The Good Wife and last night was the episode with Gloria Steinem in.

Working on what may be the worlds most bizarre way to sync an old iPod to Lyrion music server (LMS)

BoardOil, the #SelfHosted Kanban board by @dozigden has had some #HomeAssistant love with an integration from me and an App by @bexelbie

The integration provides events to automate against card changes and lots of actions for card operations.
The app allows you to self host with a few clicks within HA OS rather than containers.

You can get the integration here
https://github.com/andrew-codechimp/HA-BoardOil

And the app here

Oh hai! Got any nuts?

Bloomin' users

I have made a thing. BoardOil is a kanban style board you can self host.

I've been planning personal projects on it for about 6 months, and we even used it to plan our wedding!

I'd struggled to find a solution I could self host that I liked, so thought I would share in case it appeals to anyone else.

There's a live demo linked on GitHub.

So, Luke @dozigden and I did a thing yesterday...
We got married! ❤️

After ten years together I’m proud to call him my husband and looking forward to our future together.
